This automatic Carrera from the 1970s has a dial with colors of the Martini Racing Team.
The Heuer Carrera reference 1553 was introduced in 1972 and is even rarer than the famous reference 1153. The first two digits of the reference reveal the caliber of the chronograph. This watch is powered by the Heuer automatic caliber 15 with date, 30-minute counter and small seconds at 10 o'clock.
The blue dial has an unusual design thanks to the silver-colored stripe showing the model name Carrera. In addition, the large hour markers and the orange chrono seconds hand ensure a striking look. Overall, the colors of the dial are reminiscent of the Martini Racing Team. This once again underscores the close connection between the Heuer brand and motorsport. The cushion case combined with domed acrylic crystal create a classic vintage look on the wrist.
