This ultra-cool Carrera dates from 1984 and is one of the last watches with the HEUER emblem on the dial. Because around 1984/85 it was taken over by TAG Heuer.
The special feature of this example is undoubtedly the unworn NOS condition. A flawless dial and a mint case with 100% intact PVD coating speak for themselves.
Not only the condition, but also the striking military look and the numerous functions make this watch so interesting for vintage collectors. The black dial with black sub-registers is housed in a black PVD case. A nice contrast and good legibility are guaranteed by the white lettering. In addition to the central second hand, the chronograph also has a central minute hand. Both are orange. The minute hand has a tip in the shape of an airplane.
The case of this Carrera has a diameter of 38mm and a relatively flat profile. This ensures an aesthetic look and makes it very comfortable on the wrist.
Last but not least, the Carrera is powered by the coveted and reliable Lemania 5100 automatic caliber, recognizable by the central minute chronograph hand and the 24-hour day/night indicator at 12 o'clock. The crown has three positions. In the first, the watch is wound up. In the second crown position, the date is set by turning it in the winding direction. The time is set in the third position.
