Description
"The diving watch for sports and professional divers predestined for deep-sea exploration" - this is how the Omega Seamaster was advertised in the 1960s. In 1965, Omega released the Seamaster 120 as the smaller sister of the Seamaster 300. The reference 116.073 offered here is the "Deep Blue" with a blue dial and blue Bakelite bezel.

This vintage Seamaster owes its striking appearance to the large luminous markers, sword hands and, of course, the thick bakelite bezel with large minute numbers. The stainless steel case with its tonneau shape is a unique feature of the Seamaster 120. The Omega seahorse is engraved on the caseback.

The Seamaster is powered by the gold-plated automatic Omega caliber 565 with 24 jewels. The original Omega steel bracelet from the 70s completes the offer and increases the collector value of this watch.

Dial: perfectly preserved - absolutely clean blue surface - original tritium lume in all elements (tested with UV light) - matching tritium color in markers and hands - signed "T Swiss Made T".

Case: natural wear marks - evenly aged - intact and clearly legible engravings on the back - correct reference number 166.073 inside the case back - signed Omega crown - original acrylic crystal with the Omega logo in its center.

Bezel: blue Bakelite bezel - few scratches - overall very good condition.
