This Ulysse Nardin is a 1970s automatic chronometer that has a fancy retro design and is accompanied by the original chronometer certificate.

A chronometer is a precision watch that has undergone and passed strict precision test of an independent organization such as COSC (Contrôle officiel suisse des chronomètres). These are timepieces with a very high accuracy. This Ulysse Nardin reference A.7650 is powered by a chronometer-certified ETA automatic movement with 36000 oscillations, hence the dial is signed at 6 o'clock: "36000 Officially Certified Chronometer". This high-frequency movement was one of the most innovative of its time, thanks in part to the date quickset and the hacking-seconds function, which allows the time to be set to the second.

The design of this watch is quite whacky, fitting the "crazy" 1970s. The solid stainless steel case measures 36 mm in width and has an unusual shape. Two pins protrude from the case towards the bracelet. The bracelet is specially designed for this case is attached to these pins. The oval-shaped silver dial is protected by an acrylic crystal. Black inserts can be found in the markers and hands. The date window is at 3 o'clock.
