This Heuer Monaco 1133B is the original vintage version of the legendary 1970s square chronograph.
There are many reasons why the Heuer Monaco enjoys iconic status among vintage collectors. A sensation in its own right was the water-resistant square monobloc case introduced in 1969 - the first of its kind. The movement of the Monaco is the Caliber 11, introduced also in 1969 - one of the first automatic chronograph movements in the world. With approximately 4500 made (in all variants), the Heuer Monaco is a very rare vintage wristwatch. After about 50 years, far fewer have survived in good condition. And then there is the fact that Steve McQueen wore a Heuer Monaco 1133B on his wrist in the movie "Le Mans" and proudly owned an example of this chronograph. It is not for nothing that this reference bears the nickname "Steve McQueen".
The blue dial with white sub-registers, date window and red accents has a high recognition value. The peculiarity of the present dial is the absolutely perfect condition of the blue surface and white sub-registers. The watch is accompanied by the original Heuer stainless steel bracelet.
On the wrist, the Monaco looks fine, exclusive and sporty.
