Heuer Autavia 2446 Rindt 1960s

important vintage chronograph - Valjoux 72 - honest condition

Description
None other than Jochen Rindt - the only posthumous Formula 1 World Champion - owned an example of the Heuer Autavia Chronograph offered here. In the 1960s, he put his Autavia on the wrist during races. Therefore, this version is called Rindt Autavia and is one of the most known manual-wound Autavias of the 1960s.

But not only because of its history, but also thanks to its attractive dial, perfect proportions and legendary Valjoux 72 movement, this Autavia is so sought after by vintage collectors.

The beautiful Reverse Panda dial is housed in a 39mm stainless steel case and protected by an acrylic crystal. The beveled lugs are also very fine and attractive. On the wrist, the chronograph offers a perfect blend of authentic vintage flair and understated sportiness.
