The nickname of this vintage Heuer Carrera 1153N from the 1970s is "Mick Jagger". An example of this automatic chronograph with blue metallic dial and white sub-registers was often spotted on the wrist of the legendary British singer and songwriter.

Whether 1153 (Carrera), 1163 (Autavia) or 1133 (Monaco), all these references have the first two digits in common: 11 stands for the Caliber 11 automatic chronograph movement, developed in 1969, immediately recognizable from the position of the winding crown on the left side of the case. The caliber 12 is the improved version, which was released shortly after the caliber 11 and is very popular among today's Vintage Heuer collectors due to its reliability.

This particular Carrera 1153N features the first execution of the blue metallic dial. Contrast is provided by the two self-colored sub-registers and the tachymeter scale on the edge of the dial. A truly endearing element of this watch is the orange chrono seconds hand. The date window is located at 6 o'clock. With its diameter of 39 mm, the cushion case offers ideal proportions and looks sporty but at the same time elegant on the wrist.
