Vintage Valjoux Flieger Chronograph Caliber 22

This is a rare 1940 Valjoux 22 Flieger chronograph.

The silver dial has two sub registers with small running seconds at 9 o'clock and a 30 minute counter at 3 o'clock. It is a so-called two-tone dial. The sub-dials appear lighter or darker than the main dial, depending on the viewing angle. The hands have the popular leaf shape (feuille). The red telemeter and snail scale in the center provide a sporty character to this watch.

Thanks to the large 38mm diameter, the chronograph looks impressive on the wrist. The stepped bezel is also special and rare.

The most amazing thing about this watch is the preserved condition, especially considering its advanced age of over 80 years.
