Description
The watch manufacturer Ulysse Nardin looks back on a long and traditional history, which began in 1846 in Le Locle. Ulysse Nardin is particularly famous for its marine chronometers, which were among the most precise and were in great demand in the shipping industry of the 20th century. In the 30s and 40s, Ulysse Nardin was able to shine with the presentation of its chronographs.

The beautiful silver dial of this 1940s chronograph is housed in a 33mm stainless steel case. This is a two-tone dial. While the outer area with the tachymeter scale and the inner area are silver colored, the ring with the golden dots has a different silver hue. Depending on the viewing angle, the surfaces appear lighter or darker, creating a beautiful play of light. The hour and minute hands are made of gold. The chrono seconds hand and the small hands in the sub-registers are metallic blue.
