Darris Chronograph Paul Newman Dial

Valjoux 7733 - iconic Paul Newman style

Description
How cool is this vintage Darris chronograph from the 1970s with its charismatic Paul-Newman dial.

The panda dial has a nice contrast. On the black outer ring there is a red telemeter scale and a white tachymeter scale up to 200 units per hour. The two sub-dials feature the famous Paul Newman Daytona design.

The chrome-plated case is in excellent condition and has hardly any signs of wear. The following sharp engravings can be seen on the screw-down case back: Olympic rings, Olympic torch, serial number of the watch and the radial words "Stainless Steel Antimagnetic Incabloc Waterprotected".

The watch is powered by the robust manual-wound caliber Valjoux 7733. The movement has been checked and keeps time very accurately. The chronograph starts, stops and resets properly.

This Darris chronograph proves that cool and rare vintage watches don't have to be expensive. The watch is preserved in a wonderful collector's condition and is a pleasure to wear.
