This Rolex GMT Master 1675 dates from 1966 and is extremely rare due to its luminous material, which was available for only about 2 years. From the mid-60s, Swiss watch manufacturers were no longer allowed to use radium inside the markers and hands. Until tritium became the standard, they experimented with other materials. The dial of this GMT-Master has the long-lasting zinc sulfide lume, which was used during a very short transition period of about 2 years. It still shines today (see pictures). Only a few watches with zinc sulfide luminous material exist today and are highly sought after by watch collectors.

This Rolex GMT Master is one of the last versions with a glossy gilt dial, as Rolex switched to matte dials back in 1967.

In addition, this GMT is accompanied by original accessories from the year of sale:
- Chronometer warranty with punched serial number and stamped date of sale: June 6, 1967,
- watch rate certificate with punched serial number and correct movement number,
- Rolex GMT Master booklet.

Regardless of all these "technical" details, this GMT Master is an absolutely stunning and lovely wristwatch. The gilt printing on the flawless mirror dial, the beautiful patina in the luminous material and the faded pepsi bezel make for a nostalgic vintage look on the wrist.

Dial: absolutely perfect glossy dial with 100% intact gilt printing (mirror dial) - original zinc sulfide lume - signed "SWISS - T<25" at 6 o'clock.

Case: stainless steel oyster case in very good condition - natural wear marks - intact numbers between lugs - light wear marks on the faded pepsi bezel.

Movement: automatic caliber Rolex 1575 - timegrapher values: rate: +24s/day, amplitude: 262, beat error: 0.2.

Bracelet: riveted Oyster stainless steel bracelet - natural wear marks - light stretch - bracelet ref: 7206 - end links: 58 - date stamp in clasp: 2/65.
