In our opinion, this IWC Novecento 3545 in platinum is an unrecognised gem of vintage collecting.

IWC presented this charming collection of rectangular watches with automatic movement and perpetual calendar in 1987. The Italian term "Novecento" stands for the 20th century, as the collection is inspired by the design and technical progress of this era. It was the first automatic perpetual calendar in a rectangular case.

Compared to other IWC watches, the Novecento looks like an unusual creation. If you take a closer look at the timepiece and wear it on your wrist, you run the risk of falling in love with the watch. The perfectly balanced white dial shows the date, moon phase, day of the week and month in Italian. We absolutely love the two-digit year indication at 10 o'clock. The Novecento combines elegance with masculinity in a way that a stylish gentleman will appreciate.

The platinum case material gives this watch its noble character. It is the rarest variant of the Novecento. The rectangular case is preserved in a condition favored by many collectors: worn but unpolished.
