SoldThe White Orange Boy is a special variant of the Heuer Autavia chronograph from the 1970s. The nickname "Orange Boy" comes from the striking orange accents. The Autavia Orange Boy was available with a black dial and white sub-dials as well as with a white dial and black sub-dials. The latter variant is called the "White Orange Boy" and is harder to find.
The rare tropical patina of this example makes it an exotic and unique vintage watch. The once black sub-dials changed their color over the course of its lifetime to a fantastic caramel. This phenomenon is caused by various environmental influences and is very rare. The resulting patina is unique to each watch. On this Autavia, the discoloration is evenly distributed and harmonizes wonderfully with the white dial.
The cushion-shaped 40mm case, which is fitted with the rare Gay-Frères Single Beads Of Rice bracelet, creates a sporty look.
