Rolex Sea-Dweller 1665 Ultra Full Set

The combination of a perfect dial, honest overall condition and complete accessories makes this Rolex Sea-Dweller 1665 from 1981 a rare find.

Introduced at the end of the 1960s, the Sea-Dweller 1665 was a diver's watch specially developed for professional divers. It was characterized not only by increased water resistance, but also by a pioneering function that was of immense importance for deep-sea research: the helium valve. For the first time, the newly developed helium valve, located on the left-hand side of the case, allowed the excess pressure inside the watch to escape during its long stay under water.

Vintage collectors admire the legendary Sea-Dweller not only because of its important history, but also because of the robust construction of the case, the reliable movement and, of course, the classic and attractive dial.

Here we offer you an MK3 version from 1981, which is preserved in original condition. The case has natural signs of wear, but that is exactly what makes this Sea-Dweller so authentic and honest. The watch has served and lived well for 40 years. The dial is immaculately preserved and looks wonderful on the wrist.

Dial: immaculately preserved - original tritium luminous in hands and markers - signed "SWISS - T<25".

Case: worn but unpolished - natural signs of wear - the watch has "lived" in its 40 years - the future owner can decide to either refurbish the watch or leave it in its original condition - legible numbers between the lugs.

Movement: automatic caliber Rolex 1570 - values on the timegrapher: rate: +4s/day, amplitude: 278 degrees, beat error: 0.6 ms.
