Description
This Rolex Oyster Perpetual 6565 dates back to 1955 and is characterized by a classic and elegant design that is typical of Rolex watches from this period.

The reference 6565 was introduced in the 1950s and was one of the first Rolex watches to be equipped with the automatic caliber 1030. This movement was one of the first automatic movements produced by Rolex and was a groundbreaking innovation in the watch industry.

This example has a wonderful creamy beige dial in a classic 34mm Oyster case. The rare, unrestored crosshair dial is divided into four sectors and has a charming vintage patina. The beautiful hand set consists of Dauphine hands and a metallic blue second hand. The balanced symmetrical design creates an elegant look on the wrist. The so-called "engine turned" bezel gives the watch a sporty touch.

Another special feature of this watch is the riveted stretch stainless steel bracelet, which adapts perfectly to the wrist thanks to its flexibility and is very comfortable to wear.

Dial: unrestored and untouched - authentic patina - original radium luminous material (verified with the Geiger counter) - signed "SWISS".

Case: excellent condition - almost no signs of wear - intact lugs - clearly legible numbers between the lugs - original crown - perfectly preserved bezel.

Movement: Automatic caliber Rolex 1030 in excellent condition.

Bracelet: riveted stainless steel bracelet with stretchable links - date stamp in the clasp: 5/55 (May 1955).
