Longines launched the Conquest line in 1954. The vintage Conquest offered here dates from the 1960s and represents pure elegance. The golden dial has a radially brushed sunburst surface. At 12 o'clock there is a Longines flying hourglass logo under the brand name. At 6 o'clock, the model name "Conquest" is printed on the dial in the unmistakable Longines script, which is instantly recognizable as belonging to the Longines brand. Since this Conquest is the first generation, it has no date window. The resulting symmetry contributes to the elegance of this watch. There is a gold ring on the dial, which connects the hour markers and provides a special charm to the dial. A light reflection is generated due to the small beveled triangles on the ring, which creates a special look of the watch.

The 18k yellow gold case was rarely worn, has minimal signs of wear and looks unpolished. The long, faceted lugs have retained their original shape to this day. The back of the case is screwed and shows the gold medallion with blue sky, stars and ocean waves. It is surrounded by the letters "Longines Automatic Waterproof". This typical Longines emblem is very famous and popular with vintage collectors.
