This early Datejust reference 6605 from 1959 impresses with its elegant vintage charm and outstanding original condition.

The short production period between 1956 and 1959 alone makes the Datejust 6605 a rare vintage wristwatch. Due to its slightly domed case back, this watch is known as a "semi-bubble back" or late ovettone. The case back is slightly slimmer than on its Ovettone predecessors and slightly thicker than on later Datejust models.

A lovely part of this Datejust is its special bezel, which is divided into smooth and fluted sections. The classic matt white dial has an absolutely uniform grainy patina. The long, tapered indexes and the Dauphine hands create a striking look.

Dial: absolutely even, dreamlike vintage patina - without scratches, without stains - every single luminous dot is 100% intact.

Case: stainless steel Oyster case in TOP condition - almost no signs of wear - slight traces of storage on the back - clearly legible numbers between the lugs - Rolex Twinlock winding crown.
