We are proud to be able to offer you this incredibly rare vintage Movado chronograph ref. 19008.
This watch has many rare features. First and foremost, the 35 mm FB case, also known as the Borgel case, which was designed by the famous case designer Francois Borgel. This case was also used for the legendary time-only Patek Philippe reference 565. The Movado 19008, on the other hand, is a chronograph powered by the famous M90 caliber. The next special feature are the chronograph's special pushers, called "tasti tondi". They have a fluted surface and are larger compared to normal pushers.
The dial of this Movado is also home to numerous rare features. At 6 o'clock, the dial shows the retailer's signature "TEMPLIER". To our knowledge, this watch is the only known example of a 19008 with a double-signed dial, i.e. a dial that also bears the retailer's signature in addition to the manufacturer's name "Movado". Other special features include the original Breguet numbers and the blue snail scale in the center of the dial.
And then there is the old original Gay-Frères stainless steel stretch bracelet with riveted links. The combination of the Borgel case, the GF bracelet and the authentic patina of the dial makes our collector's heart beat faster.
