This Tavannes chronograph impresses with its exotic dial and its famous clamshell case.
The timepiece dates back to the 1940s and is housed in a special case that was one of the first waterproof cases in the history of wristwatches. The so-called clamshell case, which was patented in 1937, is fixed with four screws in the lugs.
The colors of the exotic two-register dial is a highlight in its own right. The combination of brown, orange and gold is very harmonious. And then there is the authentic patina, which creates the ultimate vintage look. The watch looks fantastic on the wrist. We like to refer to the pictures here, because a picture is worth a thousand words.
