Lapis lazuli, also known as glaze stone, is a deep blue natural rock that has been used as a gemstone for 7000 years, making it one of the oldest known gemstones. The dial of this 1990s watch is made of a high quality lapis lazuli and has a rich navy blue coloration with fine golden glittering pyrite particles, which are considered proof of authenticity.
