A vintage manual-wind Heuer Carrera in a yellow gold case is ultra-rare. We know of fewer than 10 examples. This Carrera 2456 comes from its first owner, who hardly ever wore his watch on his wrist. The complete service history is known. The case is unpolished and the dial unrestored. A truly exceptional find of an ultra-rare vintage watch with a great provenance.

The Carrera is characterized by a clear dial design that offers good readability while maintaining a sporty appearance. This model has a silver-colored dial with sub-dials in the same color and a tachymeter scale. The black inlays in the faceted gold indices and hands show great attention to detail.

The chronograph is powered by the legendary Valjoux 72 allowing the elapsed time to be read for up to 12 hours. The 18-carat yellow gold case is characterized by an elegant yet robust construction.
