The breathtaking look of this Rolex Sea-Dweller 1665 from 1979 is the reason why watch collectors become vintage watch collectors. Because this authentic patina is impossible to reproduce. Absolutely amazing how the tritium luminous material developed its vibrant espresso-macchiato color through natural aging. Rare and special is not only the warm color, but also the even aging in the markers and hands.
In addition to its bombastic appearance, this Sea-Dweller also impresses with the condition of the case, which we really love: worn but unpolished. This means that the case shows natural signs of wear, but has remained 100% in its original and unpolished condition. This makes it an ideal vintage wristwatch that absolutely belongs on a wrist, because this unique patina must be shown off.
This Sea-Dweller is also an early and rare MK1 version, also known as the Great White, which was produced between around 1977 and 1979, making it very collectible.

About Rolex Sea-Dweller
The Sea-Dweller is the professional diver's watch made by Rolex with a long and important history. In addition to the increased water resistance, the Sea-Dweller also featured the newly developed helium valve. This allowed the excess pressure that had built up in the watch during its long stay under water to escape.
