This fantastically preserved Rolex Air-King 5500 was produced in 1981 and features a rare ADWOC dial.
The Libyan Arab Drilling & Workover Company (ADWOC) was founded in 1980 and is one of the leading oil and gas companies in the Arab world. Here you can see a Rolex Air-King 5500 with the ADWOC logo on the dial. ADWOC commissioned Rolex to produce this special version, which was presented to high-ranking employees or customers of the company.
Regardless of the special and rare logo on the dial, this Rolex Air-King impresses with its classic, elegant look and outstanding condition. The unpolished case houses the immaculate dial with intact and original sunburst finish. We love the golden markers and hands, which create a warm and harmonious look on the silver-colored background.
On the wrist, the watch is comfortable and lightweight thanks to the perfectly proportioned 34 mm case and the high-quality Oyster bracelet.
The watch is accompanied by the original Rolex hangtag signed by the the serial number of the watch.
