The 1940s Omega CK 2077 is one of the most important references in the history of the Omega brand. And here you can see the very sought-after two-register dial in outstanding original condition.
The CK 2077 was developed in the 1930s and was Omega's first water-resistant chronograph, equipped with a screw-down case back and round pushers. This marked a turning point in the company's history and was a significant advance in the art of watchmaking. It is not for nothing that this chronograph is known as the Omega "Grail" Watch.
The chronograph is powered by the legendary Omega caliber 33.3, which was developed in the 1930s and was used in the military due to its reliability and precision. Only around 14,000 of these calibers were produced over a period of 20 years.
The chronograph owes its breathtaking presence on the wrist to its military features, such as the rare 38mm case, which was considered oversized for its time, and the two-register two-tone dial with very warm and original radium luminous material in the large Arabic hour numerals.
The watch is accompanied by the extract from the official Omega archives confirming the originality and provenance of the watch. The chronograph was produced on May 21, 1946 and delivered to Norway.
With this watch, you are wearing an important part of the Omega brand's rich history on your wrist.
