This is a very rare Rolex Day-Date 6611B with a special matt gray dial in a yellow gold case.
This watch has one of the rarest Rolex references: 6611B. It belongs to the very first Day-Date model series with the reference 6611, which was introduced in 1957 and was the first wristwatch with a weekday display. One year later, reference 6611B was introduced with an additional letter "B" and an improved 1055 movement. After just one year, this ultra-rare reference was replaced by the 1803.
Housed in an elegant yellow gold case, this watch impresses with its super-rare matt gray dial, which is preserved in pristine condition. We love the cream-colored patina in the day of the week display and red date disc. The design of the hour markers and hands is also impressive.
Another highlight is the original riveted yellow gold Oyster bracelet. While most Day-Dates were fitted with the eye-catching President bracelet, this watch was delivered with the extremely rare Oyster gold bracelet, which offers a somewhat calmer look, has a sportier appearance and at the same time exudes elegance and harmony.
