This fine and very attractive Rolex Day-Date was produced in 1964 and is accompanied by its original papers.
A vintage Day-Date especially with a black dial is one of the most popular Rolex collector's wristwatches. One of the reasons is the nice contrast resulting from the combination of a black dial and a gold case. What makes this particular watch highly collectible is the pristine condition of the dial and the unpolished white gold case. We love the cream-colored tritium dots on the hour markers, each of which is in perfect condition. This Day-Date is a truly rare find.
The watch is accompanied by the original Rolex chronometer certificate and the original movement certificate from the year of sale. Both papers are punched with the reference and serial number.
On the wrist, this vintage Day-Date enchants with its unmistakably elegant look. It is not without reason that the Day-Date was worn by presidents and many well-known personalities, earning it the nickname "The President Watch".
