Description
To find a Zenith El Primero G381 in such fantastic condition is a real gem for collectors and watch connoisseurs. This remarkable timepiece was produced by Zenith between 1969 and 1972 in a very limited run of less than 700 pieces.

A standout feature of this watch is the delicate tropical patina that adorns the sub-registers and the outer ring. The dial remains impeccably clean with this authentic patina adding a layer of unique charm. Its high-contrast design, luxurious gold, warm brown hues and subtle tones create a visually captivating masterpiece that is truly a feast for the eyes.

The 18k yellow gold case, with its ideal 37 mm diameter, features the same elegant and acclaimed design as the legendary Zenith A386. Delicate traces of oxidation on the surface indicate a long period of storage. Rarely worn and probably never polished, the case retains its original shape and intact lines. The well-preserved serial number on the caseback further underlines its fantastic condition.

At the core of this timepiece is the legendary El Primero caliber 3019 PHC – one of the world's first self-winding chronograph movements. Operating at a frequency of 36,000 vibrations per hour, it redefined precision in watchmaking, far surpassing the prevailing standard of 19,800 vibrations of its era. In addition, it is already equipped with a convenient quick-set date function.

This Zenith El Primero G381 combines pioneering technology with the iconic design of the 1970s resulting in a masterpiece that remains unmatched.
