In the 1960s, the merger of Zenith and Movado resulted in a series of jointly developed chronographs characterised by their distinctive design. The Movado Super Sub Sea offered here shares many features with the Zenith A277, including the iconic reverse panda dial. Both models are powered by the caliber 146-HP, the last manual-wind movement from Zenith-Movado before the introduction of the legendary El Primero automatic caliber. The 146-HP is considered as a masterpiece of watchmaking, renowned for its precision, robustness, and reliability.

The Movado Super Sub Sea stands out with its large 40mm case, housing the striking dial with its prominent long tritium hour markers. Bold dauphine hands, the distinctive paddle seconds hand, and the integrated tachymeter scale give this chronograph an instantly recognisable look.
