Description
This exceptional Jaeger-LeCoultre Memovox Ref. E876 is not only a technical masterpiece, but also a visual delight for vintage watch enthusiasts. This automatic wristwatch with alarm function comes from the golden era of the late 1960s to early 1970s and impresses with its striking case design and a spectacular dial featuring a rare and captivating patina.

The tonneau-shaped stainless steel case, measuring a bold 39 x 45 mm, lends the watch a confident, sporty-elegant presence on the wrist. It features two functional crowns: the upper crown sets the alarm - a hallmark innovation of the Memovox line - while the lower crown winds the movement and sets the time.

The true highlight of this timepiece is its remarkable dial: the outer ring glows in rich royal blue, while the once light-blue center has developed a stunning purple tropical patina over the decades - a naturally aged hue that shifts between aubergine, chocolate, and smoky gray, depending on the light. A true one-of-a-kind among vintage dials, radiating depth, history, and character.

Despite its age, this Memovox is in near-unworn condition - a remarkable rarity. The watch is fitted with its original, beautifully preserved NSA stainless steel bracelet, perfectly complementing the case design. Particularly noteworthy: this example comes as a collector's set, including the original Jaeger-LeCoultre box, hangtag, and user manual - an exceptional find for any collector.

Whether as a stylish daily wearer or as a highlight in any collection - this Jaeger-LeCoultre Memovox Ref. E876 combines horological functionality with an exceptional vintage look.
