Hardly any other wristwatch enjoys such a legendary reputation as the Steve McQueen Monaco from the 1970s. This authentically preserved Heuer Monaco 1133B with a pristine original dial is a highly valuable collector's item.
While an Autavia or a Carrera is a must-have in any Heuer collection, the Monaco is a must-have for every watch enthusiast. But what makes this icon so unique?
The Monaco made watch history in 1969 as the first waterproof wristwatch with a square case. Powered by the first automatic chronograph calibre 11, it combines innovation and precision. Only around 4,500 pieces were produced between 1969 and 1974, and original pieces in good condition are now extremely rare. Last but not least, Steve McQueen wore the Monaco in the film "Le Mans", helping this watch legend to achieve immortal fame.
This example from the early 1970s impresses with a perfect blue dial and original luminous material. The case shows subtle signs of wear and is unpolished - a condition that is much appreciated by connoisseurs who like to wear their watches and let them live.
More than just a collector's item: this Monaco 1133B is a stylish chronograph that is suitable as an everyday companion thanks to its reliability. A rare opportunity to own a piece of watch history - with unmistakable character.
