This Zenith Pacific embodies the progressive, sporty-elegant spirit of the late 1980s and early 1990s in particularly distinctive fashion.
The present example was sold in Italy on March 25, 1992, and comes as a rare full set – including original papers, instruction manual, presentation box and outer box.
Produced between 1989 and 1991, Zenith manufactured only 3,225 pieces of this remarkable model, which stands out for its bold design language. The stainless steel case flows seamlessly into an integrated bracelet, with two links engraved "ZENITH PACIFIC" and highlighted by signature golden dots – design elements that lend the watch an instantly recognizable identity.
The black gilt dial captivates with its visual richness: fine gold-tone indices and hands, combined with three harmoniously arranged subdials, create a refined and luxurious contrast. The tachymeter scale on the rehaut reinforces the watch's sporty character, while the golden dots on the bezel echo the bold design ethos of its era.
At its heart ticks one of the most important automatic chronograph movements in watchmaking history – the Zenith El Primero caliber, celebrated for its high frequency, precision and enduring reliability.
A timepiece that impresses not only with its aesthetics but also with its authenticity and collectible appeal – a striking piece of Zenith history for connoisseurs of bold vintage design.
