The Enicar Sherpa Graph is an exciting yet often underrated chronograph from the 1960s – a rare timepiece powered by the legendary Valjoux 72 movement, featuring a striking dial configuration and a large 40mm case manufactured by renowned case maker EPSA (Ervin Piquerez SA), known for its robust and water-resistant designs.
The dial stands out with its rare white base color, paired with three silver sub-dials. A grey tachymeter scale along the outer edge creates a layout that is both harmonious and dynamic. Applied hour markers with luminous accents and the bold set of hands with vibrant orange chronograph hands highlight the sporty and futuristic aesthetic of the era. A particular highlight is the prominent Saturn logo beneath the Enicar signature – a charming design element that makes collectors' hearts beat faster and perfectly captures the original spirit of the Sherpa line.
The case back features the signature "Sea Pearl" engraving, and the original signed Enicar crown is still present – a testament to the watch’s authenticity.
This vintage chronograph is powered by the legendary Valjoux 72 – a hand-wound movement used in numerous iconic models of the time, still highly regarded today for its durability and ease of servicing.
An exceptional chronograph full of character – technically sophisticated, visually striking and very rare in this configuration.
