We are proud to present one of the rarest treasures in the history of military chronographs: the Lemania TG 195 from the 1950s – a timepiece once used by the Swedish Air Force, now a true grail for collectors thanks to its striking presence and rich patina.
At first glance, the dial captures the eye with a breathtaking tropical patina: originally deep black, it has aged over the decades into a warm espresso hue – evenly faded and full of character and depth.
The 40 mm stainless steel case impresses with its distinctive asymmetrical design: oversized crown, a single rounded pusher at 2 o'clock, and a screwed caseback proudly engraved with the three crowns of the Swedish Air Force.
Technically, this chronograph stands out with its clever complication: when the pusher is pressed, the central seconds hand instantly snaps back to zero, and the crown enters setting mode – a function used by military pilots to synchronize their watches with precision.
The watch is powered by the modified Lemania caliber 2225 – a specialized evolution of the renowned caliber 2220. Adapted for air force use, this version omits the small seconds and minute counter in favor of a continuously running central seconds hand – a rare technical layout that further sets this chronograph apart.
This Lemania is a remarkable fusion of military history and technical ingenuity – and with its unique tropical dial, it is an irreplaceable treasure. More than just a watch, it's a living chapter of the past.
