The Heuer Carrera is one of the most important chronographs of the 1960s. This reference 2447NT features a black dial with three sub-registers, which is rarer than the silver variants and therefore ranks among the most sought-after executions of reference 2447.
Heuer's famous racing chronograph is highly popular thanks to its clean, functional design. The white tachymeter scale on the outer edge of the dial adds a sporty touch and ensures excellent legibility. The stainless steel case is in very good condition, with strong lugs and sharp lines.
Inside ticks the reliable hand-wound Valjoux 72 caliber, renowned for its precision and robustness, and used in many of the great chronograph classics of its era.
The combination of excellent condition, timeless design, and rare execution makes this example an outstanding collector's watch that is also perfectly wearable on a daily basis.
