This vintage Heuer Carrera is a truly special watch – not only because of its rare yellow gold case, but also due to its double-signed dial, proudly bearing the name of the Swiss retailer Türler.

Double-signed watches are rare and highly sought after. While signatures like Tiffany & Co. have long achieved cult status, the name Türler remains somewhat lesser-known among collectors, yet no less fascinating. Founded in 1883 in Biel, Switzerland, by brothers César Alexander and Jean Henri Türler, the company quickly established itself as a respected jeweler with boutiques across Europe. Its clientele included prestigious figures such as Sir Winston Churchill. From the 1910s through the 1970s, Türler retailed watches from renowned manufacturers with its signature on the dial – including Vacheron Constantin, Jaeger-LeCoultre, IWC, Universal Genève and Omega.

The present Heuer Carrera, reference 2456, is in a class of its own: an extremely rare execution in solid yellow gold, featuring a perfectly preserved dial and sharp case. It is the early version with slim indexes, giving the chronograph particularly refined proportions and an elegant overall appearance. Beating inside is the legendary Valjoux 72, celebrated for its precision and reliability.

This Carrera embodies everything that made Heuer an icon of motorsport in the 1960s: functional design, timeless elegance, and a rare touch of luxury. Combined with the Türler double signature and its outstanding condition, this watch stands far above most other Carreras.
