This Heuer Autavia Ref. 11063 MH from the 1980s represents the end of an era: it was the last generation of automatic Autavia chronographs – robust, distinctive and carrying the unmistakable DNA of motorsport.
Inside ticks the Heuer Calibre 12, an automatic chronograph movement and direct successor to the legendary Calibre 11, developed in 1969 as part of the famous "Project 99" together with Breitling and Hamilton. To this day, it remains one of the true milestones in the history of watchmaking.
The 42 mm stainless steel case features the characteristic cushion shape that sits powerfully and confidently on the wrist. The black unidirectional bezel bears both hour and minute scales – hence the designation MH (Minutes/Hours).
The black dial with grey sub-registers creates a fascinating contrast and gives the watch its unmistakable killer look. Combined with the original Heuer stainless steel bracelet, it offers a perfectly authentic presence that collectors of vintage Heuer chronographs appreciate.
As the last Autavia fitted with mineral glass, this model holds both technical and historical significance. It marks the transition from the classic Heuer era to the modern TAG Heuer period.
Conclusion: An attractive, fully original
Heuer Autavia 11063 MH – featuring an automatic movement, bold design, and strong collector appeal. A true
1980s classic.
