Introduced in the late 1960s, the Sea-Dweller 1665 was developed specifically for professional divers and is considered a milestone among tool watches. In addition to its increased water resistance, it features a groundbreaking innovation that proved essential for deep-sea exploration: the helium escape valve, which allows built-up pressure inside the case during prolonged dives to safely dissipate through the left side of the case.
Finding a vintage Sea-Dweller in such original condition is already difficult – an example with its full set of accessories and original bracelet represents a true collector’s dream.

Case: unpolished – honest signs of wear – clearly legible numbers between the lugs – original screw-down Triplock crown – beautifully preserved bezel.
Movement: automatic Rolex caliber 1570 – timegrapher results: rate deviation +4s/day, amplitude 278°, beat error 0.6 ms.
Bracelet: original Rolex Oyster bracelet – natural signs of wear – very light stretch – bracelet ref. 93150 – end links 585 – clasp code G (1982).
