From a historical perspective, this model was created during an exciting phase for Tudor: by the late 1960s, the brand had begun to move beyond its role as the “younger sibling” of Rolex and started to develop its own design identity. Reference 7020/0 is among the early Day-Date models and blends classic Rolex DNA with increasing independence. Unlike the Rolex Day-Date, this version was not limited to precious metals but deliberately offered in stainless steel – making it far more versatile and suitable for everyday wear.
