This rare Omega Chronometer reference 2367-6 from 1945 ranks among the most technically sophisticated dress watches of its era. The watch is powered by the high-grade Omega calibre 30 T2 SC RG – a finely regulated chronometer version of the legendary 30T2 movement family with which Omega established new standards for precision wristwatches during the 1940s.
The elegant “Calatrava” design is defined by its beautifully executed two-tone dial featuring a recessed inner sector. The different silver tones create remarkable depth and give the dial a refined and highly elegant appearance. Fine Roman numerals, classic leaf hands and the striking blued steel central seconds hand perfectly complete the harmonious overall aesthetic.
With a large diameter of 36 mm for the period, the case offers a great wrist presence thanks to its thin bezel and slim profile.
The condition of this example is outstanding. The watch remains fully original and unrestored. Particularly noteworthy is the original Omega Chronometer box accompanying this rare timepiece.
