Crafted in 18k yellow gold, the case stands out with its sculpturally shaped “flame lugs”, giving the watch a distinctive silhouette while reflecting the high level of craftsmanship of the era. With a diameter of 34 mm, the watch follows the classic proportions of its time and still wears remarkably elegant and well-balanced on the wrist today.
The cream-colored dial is presented in excellent, clean condition. Applied Arabic numerals at 12, 3, 6 and 9 are complemented by fine, faceted indices and a chapter ring. The blued central seconds hand adds a subtle yet striking touch of color.
A detail particularly appreciated by collectors is the deeply preserved gold hallmark on the lug — a clear indication of the outstanding condition of this approximately 70-year-old timepiece.
