Description
With its vibrant blue and orange color scheme, this Vetta 1000m perfectly captures the unmistakable spirit of the 1970s. The striking bullseye dial, the distinctive 45 mm stainless steel case, and the vivid blue Bakelite bezel give the watch a commanding presence that remains as captivating today as it was half a century ago.

The large cushion-shaped case measures an impressive 45 mm in diameter with a 49 mm lug-to-lug length, yet wears comfortably on the wrist thanks to its well-balanced proportions. Its unconventional design clearly sets it apart from traditional dive watches of the era and gives the watch a unique personality. The unidirectional rotating blue Bakelite bezel follows the safety standard of professional dive watches and is complemented by a screw-down crown.

The original, unrestored dial is preserved in beautiful condition. Its black center creates a striking contrast with the vivid orange hour ring and the bold Tritium hour markers. All luminous material on the hands and markers is original and has darkened evenly over the decades, preserving the watch's authentic vintage appearance.

The screw-down case back is engraved with "Super Waterproof", "Antimagnetic", and "100 ATU". The latter corresponds to an original water resistance of an impressive 1,000 meters — a specification achieved by only a handful of professional dive watches in the 1970s and the reason behind the model's fitting nickname, "1000m".

Today, this Vetta stands out not only for its bold colors and unusual case design, but also for its honest, well-preserved original condition. It is a characterful vintage dive watch far from the mainstream and a fascinating example of the bold and functional watchmaking of the 1970s.
