One thing is clear: this vintage watch will not go unnoticed. The Exotic Universal Genève Tri-Compax 181102 in 18k Yellow Gold is an ultra-rare luxury version of the complicated timepiece by Universal Genève. The exotic dial design is astonishing. It shows so many informations, still the layout remains balanced and easy to read. Tachymeter scale, inner ring with one-fifth second scale, month, week-day, chronograph, small second, date, moon phase. This watch combines mechanical excellence and luxurious elegance.

The reference 181102 is the last produced Tri-Compax of Universal Genève. This particular watch is from 1969 and has a unique patina on the gold case. The spectacular oxidation proves that this Tri-Compax has remained untouched for a long time. The clearly visible numbers (reference and serial number) on the caseback additionally indicate an unpolished case. The beautiful flat case shape is very similar to Zenith El Primero G381.

The dial of this Tri-Compax is immaculate. Every single tritium dot in the hour markers is intact. The chocolate color of the sub-dials blends perfectly with the golden dial and the white tachymeter scale. The sub-dial with the moon phase has a golden guilloche surface and is surrounded by a date ring. The hour and minute hands are black with luminous inserts. The chronograph and date hand are red. Looking at this watch for a longer time will not get boring. In contrast, you will discover even more little characteristics which will astonish you.

The acrylic glas shows the Universal Genève logo. The original crown is signed with the "U". The movement is the caliber 281 of Universal Genève. All features and functions have been checked and are running properly.

This Tri-Compax is accompanied by an extremely rare bracelet in solid 18k yellow gold. The upper side of the clasp is signed with the "U" and the inside bears the 18k gold hallmarks. The condition of the bracelet is almost mint.
