Audemars Piguet Royal Oak 25572SA

rare model - weekday and date - great condition

Description
Here we have a rare and attractive Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Reference 25572 has a beautiful two-tone case. Due to the big sub dials that watch is also called "the owl". Audemars Piguet presented this watch in the early 1980s. After a relatively short 10 years, the production was stopped in the early 1990s.

The reference 25572 was available in three different case materials: stainless steel, yellow gold and steel-gold. The successor reference 26330 was only as a stainless steel execution, which makes the gold variants of the reference 25572 rare and collectable.

This particular two-tone example has a gold "Petite Tapisserie" dial with gold hour markers and hands. The sub-dials show the day of the week and the date. The dial has been preserved without any quirks. The case and the bezel show little signs of wear. The case back has deep engravings. The winding crown is screwed and signed "AP".

The movement of this watch is the Audemars Piguet caliber 2124 with the weekday and the date module. The watch is technically in perfect condition and provides accurate timekeeping.

The original AP steel-gold bracelet has an integrated deployment clasp with the code "J3". The back side of some bracelet links is signed "AP".

In our opinion, the steel-gold models of Audemars Piguet are still undervalued due to their rarity. The great condition of this specimen makes it even more valuable.
