The reference 1153BN with a blue dial is one of the most beautiful and popular versions of the legendary racing chronograph Heuer Carrera.

This model was introduced in 1974 and is very rare. The dial is blue and the sub-dials are black, hence the reference suffix BN (bleu, noire). It is known that the blue dials of the reference 1153BN in particular suffer from aging. The metallic-blue surface and the black sub-registers often show abrasion. With this particular Carrera you can see two tiny spots at 7 and 8 o'clock. The rest of the dial including the sub-dials is perfectly preserved.

Orange accents are in the minute counter, chrono seconds hand and hour markers. The white tachymeter scale contrasts nicely with the dark dial. The date is at 6 o'clock.

The overall condition of this vintage chronograph is superb. The case has minimal signs of wear and still sharp edges. The serial and reference numbers are clearly legible between the lugs. The luminous material is original and intact in all elements. The automatic movement caliber 12 is in perfect condition and does not require a service.

The beautiful design, great condition and rarity make this Heuer Carrera 1153 a first-class collector's watch.
